I’m Sue Ryder, an award-winning artist based in Norfolk, UK.
My creative journey began in 2020, when I found a painted pebble a day after my mum passed away.
At the time I didn’t know it, but that little kindness rock would be the start of something incredible.
It sparked a journey that has carried me through grief and into creativity I never imagined for myself.
I tried painting kindness rocks and before long I was taking commissions mainly for pet portraits.
Over the past few years, I’ve expanded into pastel and pencil drawings.
Although I specialise in animal art I am also inspired by nature and beauty in all it's forms.I’m proud to be a member of the Association of Animal Artists and Artists With HeArt, supporting their vital charity work.
2025 has been exciting with exhibitions and four first-place awards, and a second place award across two local shows.Coming Up....In November I will be attending a two day Christmas event and I will be exhibiting in The Forum, Norwich on the 17th/18th December.You can discover more of my art, see works in progress, and read customer feedback on my Facebook page.
